Personnel Specialist 3rd Class Alex White, assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Halsey (DDG 97), relays information from the ship's helicopter control tower to the ship's bridge during flight operations. Halsey is underway in support of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2014. In its 20th year, CARAT is a bilateral exercise series between the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Marine Corps and the armed forces of nine partner nations.
