ah, Ga.,and of his coming back to begin the newwork at Kenilworth some fifteen years ago. The Church was organized on April 1,1934, services were held in the ministershome until a frame building could be erect-ed. The present building is in front of theold frame structure, with a spacious vesti-bule leading from the tower entrance intothe old sanctuary. To the right of the en-trance three double floors afford three en-trances into a well-lighted sanctuary. Onthe left are the unfinished educationalrooms, forming a two-story building. The charter membership of the Church,on April 1, 1934, was 65, although thecharter membership roll was held openuntil the installation of Mr. Gresham aspastor on July 18, 1934. The membershiptoday is 541, and of this number eighty-three have united with the Church sinceJanuary 1, 1949. A mimeographed list ofthese eighty-three was given those attend-ing the afternoon service and announce-ment made of a special welcome serviceI for these on the 17th of July.

Kenilworth Church The Kenilworth Church was organizedthrough the agency of the Home MissionCommittee of Asheville Presbytery, underthe leadership of Re/. R. F. Campbell,D.D., and Rev. R. P. Smith, D.D., withother local groups. One of these, Dr. Ber-nard Smith, son of Dr. Smith, was presentat the services on Jub 10. Five years ago the Home Mission Com-mittee offered the Kenilworth Church $1,-000.00 on their new building provided theywould raise $5,000.00 within a year. Thiswas done, and the fund continued to growto something around $45,000.00, whenground was broken for the present struc-ture. The total cost of the building whenfinished will amount to over $100,000.00,including furnishings. J. R.
