In this work from the U.S. Coast Guard Art Program 2015 Collection, “Muddy Rescue,” ID# 201527, an aviation survival technician sits at the door of an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter after assisting two duck hunters who were stuck in the mud in Lake St. Clair near Mitchell's Bay, Ontario, Canada. The rescue swimmer and his fellow crewmembers from Air Station Detroit were assisting Canada’s Joint Rescue Coordination Centre Trenton in the rescue. (U.S. Coast Guard Art Program work by John Ward)
