In a recent letter Mr. C. D. Wedrick, of Nanticoke,Ontario, Canada, says: I never had such tomatoes asI have had this year of the Diener variety, purchasedfrom you. There must be at least a bushel to a plantand of a size and flavor I never saw equalled. NEW TOMATO, EARLIEST PRODUCER 897 We grew a> large crop of this the past seasonin order to test it thoroughly and were very muchpleased with its fine quality and productiveness. Itpossesses possibly the greatest merit of any tomatogrown. Not quite so early as Top Notch, but a large, very smooth and handsome solid meated Tomato.
