YORKTOWN, Va. (Jun. 15, 2015) Students from the College of William and Mary search through the remains of a Kiskiak village during a field study at Naval Weapons Station Yorktown. The Kiskiak were a Native American tribal group of the Powhatan Confederacy. The field study is being conducted through the university as part of an ongoing cooperative agreement with Naval Facilities Engineering Command to survey historical sites at the installation.
