He is a "brusher," gets $3 a week; has worked one summer; is on now "for the winter." Said, after hesitation, when I asked age, "I'm fourteen." Doesn't appear to be. Boy in middle and right end boy seem to be under 14. They are Walter Johnson and Eugene Rieser, and claim to be regular workers. Walter said he had just been "fired" and Eugene had "got mad and quit."  Location: De Soto, Missouri.

A marriage censor at the point of debakation has seemed necessary to the military authoritiesbecause of the hurry that the returning troops seem to be in to get licenses as soon as they land. Capt. Don L. Monteith with a soldier at this side, is installed in the Bureau of Marriage Licenses in the Municipal Building as a "Censor" and if the soldier and his prospective bridge don't pass the enlisted men, they are uestioned by the Captain. Wilhelm, 43, a World War veteran and unemployed huckster of York, PA., won himself a job today on his ability to recite from memory the 6,757 words of the Constitution and Amendments. In his quest for work, Wilhelm called on Rep. Sol Bloom, Chairman of the United States Constitutional Sesquicentennial Commission, to whom he announced he was the only man in the world who could recite from memory the Constitution. Interested but skeptical, Bloom promised Wilhelm a job if he could back up hi claim. With Bloom checking the words, Wilhelm made good on his boast and is now an employee of the U.S. Constitution Sesquicentennial Commission mail room. 9/13/37

Shot from inside the cargo bay and out of the back of a German C-160 Transall cargo plane. A pallet of 100-pound bags of foodstuff has just been dropped out the back of the aircraft. In the background other pallets of foodstuff are seen hitting the ground. The aircrew is performing a low-level mission over a remote location in Somalia. The drops are conducted at less that 100 feet off the ground as the pallets fall without the aid of a parachute. The pallet rigging breaks apart on impact and absorbs most of the shock from the airdrop. German aircrews claim a success rate of 85% using this method of insertion. This mission is in direct support of Operation Restore Hope
