Print shows William Henry Harrison, half-length portrait, seated, facing slightly left. On the right and left margins are clusters of flags and the weapons of battle; at top are battle scenes from the Battle of Tippecanoe and the Battle of the Thames separated by an American eagle with a stars and stripes shield; at bottom is a view of Harrison's home at "North Bend, Ohio" and wreaths in the bottom corners showing the U.S. Capitol building and the White House.
Caption continues: Ninth president of the United States. Born Feb. 9th 1773. Inaugurated March 4th. Died April 4th 1841. His last words "I wish you to understand the true principles of the government. I wish them carried out. I ask nothing more."
