Zhenge, wife of Qaishan (a.k.a. Wuzong). Paint and ink on silk. Portrait cropped out of a page from an album depicting several consorts of Yuan emperors (Yuandai dihou banshenxiang), now located in the National Palace Museum in Taipei (inv. nr. zhonghua 000325). I have tried to follow the Chinese captions on the respective portraits, not the description in Dschingis Khan und seine Erben. Some rows or columns of pixels near the margins of the pic may have been manipulated by me (Yaan) for optics.
