William George Barker (1894-1930), V.C., D.S.O. (with bar), M.C. (with two bars), Croix de Guerre, with the Sopwith Camel in which he shot down part of his total of 52 enemy aircraft.
Barker was a Canadian First World War fighter ace and Victoria Cross recipient. He is the most decorated serviceman in the history of Canada, and indeed in the history of the British Empire and Commonwealth of Nations.
