Summary

Built by William Elder Bailey in 1890, this building was renamed the Hoge Building in 1907. In 1909 it was demolished to make way for the construction of a new structure also known as the Hoge Building. This building housed the offices of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer newspaper. Other businesses and stores depicted include Alaska Fisheries Union (114 Cherry St.), Joseph Mayer & Bros. (jewelers, 116 Cherry St.).
