"View of the city of Bangkok" from the book "Journal of an embassy from the Governor-General of India to the courts of Siam and Cochin-China" by John Crawfurd (publication date 1828); of his voyage to Siam and Cochin-China in 1822. The temple is probably Wihan Yot, built by King Rama I, and part of Wat Phra Kaew, the temple of the Emerald Buddha.
