U.S. Navy file photo - (Feb. 14, 2001) The U.S. Navy's Unmanned Vehicle Detachment, located at Naval Air Station North Island, Calif., deployed the remotely operated "Super Scorpio" to Pearl Harbor following the Feb. 9 collision at sea involving the Japanese fishing vessel "Ehime Maru" and USS Greeneville (SSN 772) approximately 9 miles off the coast of Diamond Head, Hawaii. Weather permitting, the "Super Scorpio" team will conduct video surveillance of the sea floor where the sunken "Ehime Maru" is believed to be located in 1800 feet of water.
