US Air Force C-17A Gloemaster III crewmemers check the Tri-Wall Aerial Delivery System (TRIADS) containers prior to take off on the first mission into Afghanistan. U.S. Air Force C-17's delivered Humanitarian Daily Rations (HDR's) in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM from Germany to Afghan refugees who have massed inside the orders of Afghanistan. The C-17's carried more than 35,000 HDR's packed in 84 TRIAD oxes. Each ox measures 80 inches tall and 48 inches square, and contains 420 HDR's.
