Central Command Area of Responsibility (Jan. 27, 2003) United States Army Vessel (USAV) Theater Support Vessel (TSV-1X) Spearhead arrives at a port within the Central Command Area of Responsibility. The 98 meter-long wave-piercing catamaran has an average speed of 40+ knots and will be utilized on missions which can take advantage of its speed and flexibility when transporting troops and cargo.
