Author of this photography is unknown and it is image of undoubted historical importance.
It has been taken at the at the historic very first Partisan exhibition held in Topusko in 1944 on the free territory of Yugoslavia ( "The First Congress of Cultural Workers of Croatia - Prvi kongres kulturnih radnika Hrvatske" at Topusko, 25th-27th June 1944).
Alfred Krupa was one of the 13 core artists of the Art of Croatian Antifascist Movement (Detoni, Radauš, Simaga, Rukljač, Prica, Claus, ĆaĆe, Ćermak, Krupa, Murtić , Agbaba, Rajkovic and Čerić) and founder of the Watercolor Biennal of Yugoslavia (BAJ,1979).
It was a unique event in the rebellious Europe, an unprecedented event when scientists, professors, writers, poets, composers, actors, directors, along with them and amateurs were together.
In the honorary presidency were appointed marshals, state presidents, writers, generals, writers, scholars, sculptors (among others Stalin, Churchill, Roosevelt, Tito, Nazor, Eduard Beneš, Josip Vidmar, Koča Popovic, Aleksej Tolstoy, HG Welles, Thomas Mann, Vanda Vasiljevska, Bozidar Maslarić, Zdenek Nejedly, Louis Adamić, Todor Pavlov, Artur Toscanini, Antun Augustinčić).
