Tim Freeman, left, demonstrates how to properly mix sauce and pasta to food service specialists with Marine Wing Support Squadron 172 during a cooking class at the Blue Ginger restaurant here, April 24. The food service specialists are here in support of Balikatan 2012. BK12 is an annual bilateral training exercise designed to build the joint interoperability between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the U.S. military. Freeman is an executive chef and owner of Blue Ginger. MWSS-172 is with Marine Wing Support Group 17, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
