Pacific Ocean (Jul. 27, 2006) Thirteen Ships line up for a photo exercise during the UNITAS Pacific Phase exercise. UNITAS is an annual exercise in the South American region. This years Pacific phase, hosted by Chile, includes navies from seven countries: Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Spain and the United States. The exercise is designed to train each navy in a variety of maritime scenarios, with each operating as a component of the multinational force.
