Nadar, also known as Gaspard-Félix Tournachon, was a French photographer and caricaturist who is famous for his portrait photography during the 19th century. His studio portraits were highly regarded for their artistic quality and technical innovation, and for his ability to capture the essence of his subjects' personalities.
