The U.S. Army Airborne and Special Operations Test Directorate (ABNSOTD) conducts a deliberate water airborne operations on Jordan Lake in Chatham County, N.C., July 13, 2016. ABNSOTD plans and executes the testing of airborne and airdrop equipment that ensure the safety and effectiveness of operational paratroopers, and ensure that the equipment is effective in all situations including water landings.
