The transfer case containing the body of US Navy Seal CHIEF Hospital Corpsman (HMC) Matthew J. Bourgeois is carried by a joint service honor guard to a hearse during his Fallen Soldier Ceremony at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. HMC Bourgeois was killed at a remote location near Kandahar, Afghanistan, when he stepped on an enemy land mine during Operation ENDURING FREEDOM.
