The Sicilian Vespers by Francesco Hayez

Francesco Hayez (1791-1882) was an Italian painter who is considered one of the leading artists of the Romantic movement in Italy. He was born in Venice and studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice before moving to Milan, where he became a prominent figure in the art scene.
