nt funeral of Henry W.Wellman, a prominent and pioneer citi-zen of this city, many of the localfirms were well represented with floralofferings. Among them were The FlickFloral Co., The Auger Flower Shop,The Bradley Flower Shop, W. J. & M.S. Vesey, and The New Haven FloralCo. The Flick Floral Co. have the deco-rations for the spring opening of thelarge department stores of Wolf andDessauer, and the Rurode Dry GoodsCo. They have also been busy withfuneral work, and are showing somefine stock. Their pot lilacs are mam-moth. W. J. Vesey. Jr., has returned fromthe meeting of the State Florists As-sociation of Indiana, which was heldat Portland, March 2. He reportsbusiness as very good, and says hisstock cannot meet the heavy demandfor flowers during the last few weeks. Some fine Azalea mollis and pansyplants are being shown at the BradleyFlower Shop. This firm is preparingto move to its new quarters. H.
