Summary
A pair of decorative woodcut tail-pieces by Hans Weiditz (on the verso of every leaf from p.2 to p.88), published in a copy of 'Tacuini Aegritudinum' (Strasbourg, 1532) with woodcut title-page border and other tail-pieces by an anonymous artist, with Latin letterpress text on Arabian medicine from Arabic by Yahyá ibn 'Isa ibn Jozlah (Abu Ali), al-Baghdádi, bound together with a coy of 'Tacuini sanitatis' (Strasbourg 1531), with forty cuts by Weiditz (on the recto of every leaf from p.39 to p.117), illustrating articles of food, utensils, methods of medical treatment, etc, and with one initial 'P' with Lot and his daughters (page 5) also by Weiditz, with Latin letterpress text from Arabic by Al Muhtar Ibn-al-Hasan Ibn-Butlan, both bound in blind-stamped pigskin, published in Strasbourg by Johann Schott. 1531 and 1532.
