DAUPHIN ISLAND, Ala.--Coast Guard Petty Officer 1st Class Thomas Brown, a trumpet player with the Coast Guard Band in Groton, Conn., readies sub-surface oil surveillance gear on board a local fisherman's vessel of opportunity boat near Dauphin Island in the southwestern corner of Mobile Bay, Ala., Aug. 26, 2010.
