Students from St. Angela Merici Catholic School wait their turn as Louisiana Air National Guardsman Tech. Sgt. Bertrand Woods, an F-15 crew chief, gives a detailed explanation of how the ejection seat works and other instruments within the cockpit. The elementary students visited the 159th Fighter Wing at the Naval Air Station, Joint Reserve Base, New Orleans, April 13, to get up close and personal with aircraft as part of their year-long class project, “The History of Flight.”
