At the bottom are the donor and his wife,the coronation of St Louis, and the ending of theregency of his mother, Blanche of Castille. In thenext three pictures above are the submission of theCount of Champagne, the marriage of St Louis, StLouis receiving the Crown of Thorns. The third setcontains St Louis punishing miscreants: his Morti-fication : his reception of the poor at his table. Inthe fourth set St Louis washes the feet of the poor :he visits the plague-stricken: he is present at theCouncil of Lyons. In the tracery are St Yves : StLouis ransoming prisoners: burying the plague-stricken : and founding the Quinze-Vingts.
