Summary

992 GRT cargo steamship Kowhai. W Harkess & Son of Middlesbrough on Tees-side built her in 1910 as Hopeful. Coast Lines bought her and renamed her Devon Coast. The Union Steam Ship Co of New Zealand bought her and renamed her Kowhai. She was scrapped in Melbourne, Australia 1951–57.
