The work of the coursecenters about mensuration, special attention being given toactual measurements and construction in the mensuration ofsurfaces and solids. The course is planned to develop and givea clear understanding of many of the rules and processes ofarithmetic and is important for teachers whose business it isto know the why as well as the how of processes in mathe-matics.
