This is one one-thousandth of the manpower engaged in the construction of Uncle Sam's new 70,000,000 battleship the USS Alabama, which is scheduled to be launched in February, 1942. Approximately 3000 men are working to complete this mighty mistress of the seas. The men above are skilled shipfitters
