Alice Bailly (February 25, 1872 – January 1, 1938) was a Swiss painter. She was born in Geneva, Switzerland, and studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Geneva and the Académie Julian in Paris. Bailly's early work was influenced by Post-Impressionism and Fauvism, but she later developed her own unique style that blended elements of Cubism, Futurism, and Dadaism. She was known for her use of vibrant colors, bold lines, and abstract forms. In addition to painting, Bailly also worked in other media such as collage, embroidery, and textile design. She was involved in the Dada movement and participated in the 1918 Dada Fair in Zurich. Bailly's work was exhibited widely during her lifetime, including at the Salon d'Automne in Paris, the Venice Biennale, and the Armory Show in New York City. Today, her work is held in the collections of museums around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
