Henri Fantin Latour - Sara la baigneuse

Sara, entirely naked, sways in a hammock above a circular pool (whose stone edge cuts along the bottom of the image). Her left hand holds the edge of the hammock and her left leg hangs down toward the pool. Her right leg is fully folded. Her face is in profile. There are trees and a little of the sky seen on the right. On the left, there is a large tree trunk from which the hammock hangs .
