Rodin - Adam

"Adam" was created in 1881 by Auguste Rodin to be part of a larger work, "The Gates of Hell". The separate version of "Adam" depicted here was cast in bronze by Rodin's workshop in 1924. His "The Gates of Hell" was not completed until 1938.
