Many examples of Roman stuccowork were undoubtedly known by the brothers, and in the Journalof James Adams Italian tour we read : Saw also at Cumae some 1 Domenichino (Domenico Zampieri), of Bologna, painter, 1581-1641. 2 Georgio Vasari, of Florence, painter and architect, 1512-74. 3 Algardi, of Bologna, sculptor and architect, 1592-165-4.
