PORTSMOUTH, Va. (Sept. 18, 2019) – Visitors learned about suicide prevention at one of the tables offered at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP) Mental Health/Suicide Prevention Health Fair Sept. 18. September is National Suicide Prevention month and NMCP’s Health Promotion and Wellness Committee, in conjunction with the Suicide Prevention Program, handed out information pamphlets, business cards and other tools to communicate the importance of mental health and suicide prevention during this fair.
