Photography during the Second World War
The Allied Central Interpretation Unit at RAF Medmenham. D Day forces were briefed with the aid of three hundred and forty synthetic rubber models of the landing sites based on aerial reconnaissance photographs. Members of the press view a sample of the models which were made at Medmenham.
