Petty Officer 2nd Class Alan Dewitt, Navy diver, assigned to Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit 2, attached to Commander Task Group 56.1, monitors the tending line attached to a diver conducting an anti-terrorism and force protection dive. MDSU 2 is attached to CTG 56.1, to provide maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
