SAN DIEGO (Jul. 31, 2012) Peter Harsch, right, explains the process of building custom-fit prosthetic limbs to U.S. Ambassador to Georgia John R. Bass in the prosthetics laboratory at Naval Medical Center San Diego's Comprehensive Combat and Complex Casualty Care facility. Following his tour of the facility, Bass visited a group of Georgian Armed Forces service members who are being treated for combat injuries at the center.
