Summary
Overview of the main entrance before opening
Artist: Atelier K.K. (Knud Knudsen)
In the wet summer of 1928 Bergen city held a great National fair in the city center. The entire erea around the lake Lille Lungegårdsvann was filled with pavillions, restaurants, stalls and amusements. 600 000 visitors is said to have enjoyed the fair in its four monts of glory. National photographer Knud Knudsen both had his own exhibition studio, for portraits and family photos, and went around the site documenting the event for us to see. From the picture postcards Knud Knudsen made before and during the event, Bergen Public Library has picked out a small set for your amusement. Enjoy.
