New York Army National Guard Sgt. Mitchell Stogel, an infantryman assigned to the 1st Battalion, 69th Infantry rests after completing a 12-mile forced road march as part of the 2017 New York Army National Guard Best Warrior Competition at Camp Smith Training Site on April 1, 2017. Stogel won the NCO level competition that tested Soldiers on their physical fitness, military knowledge, endurance, marksmanship, and land navigation skills. Stogel will advance to the regional level later this year.
