Summary
Nearly 1,400 Afghan National Army soldiers finished Regional Warrior Basic Training at the Regional Military Training Center Southwest in Helmand province, Afghanistan, April 12, 2012. Brig. Gen. Ghulam Farouq Parwani, Deputy Commanding General of the 215th Maiwand Corps, oversaw the graduation ceremony and noted the future challenges ahead for these young soldiers in protecting the people of Afghanistan from its enemies. The new soldiers will go to assignments within the ANA 215th Maiwand Corps as infantrymen or attend specialty courses at the RMTC.
