Found in its original plain binding of parchment, this work was most likely compiled by a practitioner of alchemy and medicine. Containing a handwritten copy of Liber lucis by John of Rupescissa (Johannes de Rupescissa) which contains a recipe for the philosopher's stone. Also includes alchemical notes and extracts from Turba philosophorium by Giovanni Agostino Panteo, Voarchadumia contra alchimiam attributed to Pseudo-Geber (Jābir ibn Hayyān), Summa perfectionis magisterii, the redaction of Secretum secretorum by Roger Bacon, and Rosarius philosophorum ascribed to Arnold of Villanova.
