Marines with the Logistics Combat Element of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force South engage their targets during the first combat marksmanship live-fire held aboard future amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), July 28, 2014. The purpose of the shoot was to refresh the Marines' shooting skills to prepare them for their bi-lateral exchange in Brazil. Bi-lateral exchanges with our partners strengthen the relationships that facilitate the cooperation needed in the event of a crisis requiring a multinational effort.
