Summary

Two ships docked, South Wall, Co. Dublin...This is the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) during a visit to Dublin in 1962, 322 was the HMCS Lauzon and 305 the La Hulloise. there were 4 ships in total with over 700 sailors. ..All the above information was supplied by sharon.corbet ( /photos/129555378@N07/ ) and her link below to the The "Crow's Nest" magazine is really worth a read, thanks Sharon. ..oaktree_brian_1976 ( /photos/66151649@N02/ ) Our own Canadian expert tells us "La Hulloise" is French for a person from Hull, Quebec, just across the Ottawa River from, well Ottawa! (It's now in the City of Gatineau, Hull and a bunch of other cities were merged together). Lauzon is a city in the province of Quebec, home to Davie Shipbuilding, where the Lauzon was built during WW2. Hulloise was built by Canadian Vickers in Montreal...Hulloise stuck around to be a training ship until the 60s, Lauzon was later sold to the Chilean Navy...Photographer: James P. O'Dea. .Collection: James P.
