Looking for Action - Political cartoon, public domain image

This illustration entitled, "Looking for Action", by cartoonist Clifford Berryman, which appeared in the Washington Post on August 6, 1901, shows ex-Secretary of the Navy William Chandler prodding the Navy Department to initiate a Court of Inquiry into the matter of charging Rear Admiral Bob Evans with "conduct unbecoming an officer and a gentlemen" because of a book Evans had written which slandered Chandler's actions while in the office of Secretary of the Navy.
