Logistics Specialist 2nd Class Christina Baracosa removes cargo netting from a pallet of supplies delivered to the flight deck during a vertical replenishment evolution onboard USNS Mercy (T-AH 19). Mercy took on fuel, supplies and various food stores from the USNS Alan Shepard (T-AKE 3) to continue its mission to Sihanoukville, Cambodia. USNS Mercy is the mission ship this year for Pacific Partnership, the largest annual humanitarian and civic action (HCA) mission in the Asian-Pacific region. Military and civilian professionals from 13 partner nations and 23 international and local non-government organizations (NGO) and agencies have partnered to execute tailored HCA projects and subject matter expert exchanges.
