Summary
In this letter to Amos A. Phelps, John Cutler Nichols says Dr. Taylor daily asks for news from Phelps. He also talks about Fitch’s speech, in which he attacked Johnson and Hayne, and addressed slavery and the Indian questions. Nichols says there is no public notice taken of Phelps’s communication.
