Summary
John Calvin Webster writes to Amos A. Phelps thanking him for delivering a parcel from his London friend. He wants to see him to talk about London affairs & affairs in England. He writes, "What a commotion the country is in! With Puseyism, disent, repeal, & for suffrage & a multitude of other agitating topics, both in church & state." He asks his opinion on the anti-slavery friends in New York who do their work over the sabbath.
