Letter from E.A. Webb, Keene, [New Hampshire], to William Lloyd Garrison, 1855 January 21
Summary
E.A. Webb writes to William Lloyd Garrison asking if "there was any prospect of you coming to K[eene] this winter and holding some Antislavery meeting." Webb says that "Tho the Ears of the people are hard of hearing and their hearts as hard as the Granite Hills around them", Garrison's presence, along with Wendell Phillips, could make them "see and rejoice in the Truth." In the postscript, Webb recommends "the best success by coming some Saturday and holding the meeting that Sunday."
