Square-shaped iron sheet metal keyhole escutcheon with rectangular holes adjacent to central opening for mounting to furniture. The escutcheon measures 6.2 cm high by 5.3 cm wide. This piece was recovered during the initial year of archeological investigations of the North West Company at Grand Portage in 1936.
