Jon Whitcomb (1906-1988) was an American illustrator and artist known for his glamorous depictions of women in the 1940s and 1950s. He worked for magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Redbook and Ladies' Home Journal, and his illustrations often featured fashionable and elegant women in romantic settings. Whitcomb's style was characterised by his use of soft colours, delicate brushstrokes and attention to detail in clothing and accessories. He also worked on advertising campaigns for companies such as Coca-Cola and General Electric.
